Mechanical Works

Each photovoltaic power plant is different in size, layout, topography, and installed capacity. We have seen and, especially, experienced them all: from critical soil, with reinforced concrete, to lands with high inclinations or difficult access. In 2023, only in Germany and Austria we carried out mechanical works of around 75 MW, on all types of infrastructure.

Case Studies

~ 35 MW installed

Germany, Brandenburg
Year : 2023 - 2024
Scope of Work : Full mechanical works Specifics : The PV panels are situated along the highway, both generating electricity and lowering the noise pollution produced by the traffic

16,2 MW installed

Germany, Bavaria
Year : 2023
Scope of Work : Full mechanical works

Austria, Styria region

Year : 2023
Scope of Work : Full mechanical works Specifics : The photovoltaic plant is situated at 1,000 meters altitude, 14 km far from the nearest community, perched on a slope with a challenging 35% incline. The site was unreachable for standard construction vehicles typically used in photovoltaic plant building process, creating huge logistic challenges. The PARAPET team demonstrated exceptional skills in mechanical work, having dedicated over 6,000 man-hours to this project and having installed approximately 5,420 photovoltaic panels.

Austria, Vienna

Year : 2019 - 2020
Scope of Work : Full mechanical works Specifics : The PV plant covers the technological consumption of Wiener Wasser, the operator of Vienna's centralized water supply system. The existence of a critical drinking water storage infrastructure just 70 cm below ground level required the use of a special system of anchors in the ground for depths of only 30 cm.
