Geotech & P.O.T.

Prior to the opening of the construction site for a photovoltaic park are the conducting tests necessary for planning and design such as seismic, geological, and geotechnical tests to verify soil characteristics. We provide structural design services for industrial constructions and photovoltaic or hybrid parks (PV-Wind-with Storage) and geotechnical engineering services that include field investigations, studies, and geotechnical design. Our engineers perform traction and compression tests, by designing and building equipment adapted to the requirements of the beneficiaries. We carry out technical expertise with the help of our colleagues, certified experts, and complete reports, based on written and drawn documents. Structural calculations are performed in 3D (Robot Structural Analysis).

Case Studies

Planned capacity : 150 MW

South Romania
Year : 2024
Scope of Work : Ramming, Pull-Out Test, Compression, Inclination Test, Frozen Test, Floods Test, Continuous Flight Auger Foundations
Specifics : The tests were performed on approximately 130 posts at various depths by ramming or drilling 400 mm diameter holes and filling them with concrete. In order to avoid using any type of anchoring machines during the tests, Parapet engineers designed an independent structure - "Reaction Beam" - that supposed 3D modeling in static calculation software, then modeling and detailing to obtain the drawings for the assembly. The structure was designed to carry up to 100 kN, without suffering important deformations. The engineers also simulated the freezing state of the ground around the pillar; tests were also conducted under conditions of saturation of the earth.
